Clear AlignersIn Tallahassee
These custom-made, nearly invisible aligners gently guide your teeth into place, letting your personality shine through – not your orthodontic treatment.
Why Should I Choose Clear Aligners?
Clear aligners are a great option for getting a confident smile without the look of traditional braces. Clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth, gently shifting them into place over time. Teens and adults appreciate that they're hardly noticeable, so they can keep smiling at work events and school pictures. Clear aligners work well with busy schedules too - there's no need to avoid certain foods or worry about brackets coming loose. Plus, the aligners are removable, making brushing and flossing a breeze. Many of our patients find clear aligners treatment to be comfortable and convenient, fitting seamlessly into their everyday lives. During our consultation, we'll chat about how clear aligners could work for your specific smile goals.

Benefits of Clear Aligners
The clear aligners are virtually invisible, allowing you to smile confidently throughout your treatment. This can be especially beneficial during important social events or when taking photos.
Because the aligners are removable, you can brush and floss your teeth normally. This makes it easier to maintain good oral health during treatment, reducing the risk of cavities or gum problems.
Clear aligners are smooth and comfortable, with no sharp edges or wires. They're also great for social patients, since they can be easily removed for special occasions.

FAQs
Have questions? We've got answers.
On average, treatment takes about 12 to 18 months. But remember, every smile is unique! Some patients might need less time, while others might need a bit more. The key to staying on track is wearing the aligners for 20-22 hours a day, just as recommended. During your initial consultation, we'll be able to give you a more accurate estimate based on your individual case. And don't worry - we'll check in regularly to make sure everything's progressing as planned.
One of the great things about clear aligners is that there are no food restrictions! Unlike traditional braces, clear aligners are removable. So when it's time to eat, simply take out the aligners, enjoy your meal, and then pop the aligners back in after brushing your teeth. This means you can continue to eat all your favorite foods - even those crunchy or sticky snacks that are off-limits with regular braces. Just remember to always remove the aligners before eating or drinking anything other than water, and to brush before putting them back in to keep those teeth nice and clean.
Caring for aligners is pretty straightforward. Each morning and night, gently brush the aligners with a soft toothbrush and lukewarm water. You can use a tiny bit of clear, unscented soap if needed, but never use toothpaste - it's too abrasive and can scratch the aligners. It's also important to rinse the aligners every time they're removed. When they're not in your mouth, the aligners should be stored in their case to keep them safe and clean. Avoid leaving them wrapped in a napkin (they might get thrown away!) or exposed to heat, which can warp them. With good care, the aligners will stay clear and barely noticeable throughout their use.
