At what age should my child first see a dentist?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first dental visit by age 1, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits help us catch issues before they start and get your child comfortable with the dentist.
Do you offer both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics?
Yes. SmileWorks is a dual-specialty practice — orthodontic specialists and board-certified pediatric dentists work under one roof, so your child can get cleanings, checkups, braces, and Invisalign at the same office without outside referrals.
Is the orthodontic consultation really free?
Yes. Orthodontic consultations are free and include an orthodontic specialist’s exam, plus a conversation about treatment options, timing and payment choices.
Can parents stay with their child during pediatric visits?
Yes, parents are always welcome chairside at SmileWorks. We aim to keep parents involved and help children feel secure throughout the visit.
Do you see patients without dental insurance?
Yes. Our in-house membership plans start at $324 per year for children and include cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments, X-rays, and 20% savings on additional procedures.
