Dr. Brion Long graduated with Honors from Oregon Health and Science University. Following graduation, he served as the Dental Director of La Clinica del Valle, which is Southern Oregon‘s largest public healthcare facility. As Dental Director, he was responsible for managing multiple dental clinics that provided care to the most underserved population. During his tenure there, Dr. Long completed over 6000 procedures on pediatric patients. Moreover, he was actively involved in many leadership roles, including serving as Co-President of the Northwest Regional Primary Care Association (an organization comprised of over 1200 physicians and dentists), as well as serving as a member of the Steering Committee that developed policies for the California Primary Care Association.
Dr. Long furthered his education by completing a three-year orthodontic residency at the University of Florida in 2009. During his residency in the dental specialty of orthodontics, Dr. Long conducted benchmark mixed-dentition research for Align Technology, the manufacturer of Invisalign. He is a member of numerous dental organizations and served as adjunct faculty at Oregon Health and Science University, as well as the Oregon Institute of Technology.
Dr. Long also is an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Florida’s College of Dentistry. He is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys traveling, college sports, and dental mission trips. Dr. Long is excited to bring his patient-centered philosophy to the greater Tallahassee area.
